Happy Holiday's everyone!

Things have been super busy at Earjeans central and for all the right reasons :)

To get us caught up a bit faster with our collection, I've decided to post several pieces on one blog post. I hope that's cool with you :)

#264 "Pick up the pieces


These are made with cotton fabric. This print caught my eye immediately in the store and I had to have it :)

#263 "Feather Friends"


These earrings were so much fun to make! I hand wrapped each feather piece with jewelry wire then covered it with a piece of dark brown leather. They are 8 inches long and super light weight.

#262 "Bling in the New year" bracelet


This fun bracelet is a bold yet subtle way to add a little bling to any outfit.
I made this 10-ring bracelet with black seed beads and black glass beads.

Our jewelry creation today is called "A Wrapped Rose"

Materials used: Copper wire and 1 Ametrine crystal quartz

Design time is 30-45 minutes.

The Earjeans 365 Collection: #266

Today's jewelry inspiration is dedicated to music lover's and all things 1990's. One of my favorite things to do was listen to the radio and record my favorite songs directly to cassette tape. The challenge was to stop the tape before the DJ would come back on again. It was really easy to have several tapes and not know what songs were on which tape. Since then music has evolved dramatically. Here's to remembering "the good ol' days"

Earrings #266 are called "The Mix Tape"

Our materials:
Denim
black, white, and silver glitter fabric paint
findings

Design time for these is about 4 1/2 hours including the drying time. I hand painted the design on both sides. They are a lot lighter than they look.

The Earjeans 365 Collection: #267

I'm really loving this color scheme for the fall! I couldn't help it :)

Piece #267 is called Clusters & Copper cocktail ring.

Our materials:
copper wire (20g and 14g)
carnelian bead chips
turquoise bead chips
tiger's eye bead chips
topaz swarovski crystals

Design time for this piece is 25 minutes.

I hammered a strip of copper and then wire wrapped several of the semi precious bead chips with a few swarovski crystals around the ring base. This makes for a great piece to wear with a beautiful cocktail dress or any outfit you want to add a little bit of bling to.

Today's jewelry inspiration is dedicated to looking fabulous with every step you take.

Earrings #268 are called "Stepping out"

Our materials:

Fabric (designed by Project runway contestant, April Johnston)
Wood beads
Black Tube beads

Design time for these fabulous earrings is 25 minutes. They are super light weight and would look great with a variety of outfits with shades of Black, grey, red, and white.

The Earjeans 365 Collection: #269

I was inspired to create these after working on a custom bracelet for myself. Having a piece of jewelry made for a specific person makes that person feel special and unique and they'll treasure that piece of jewelry as such.

So earrings #269 are called "Personal Touch"

Our materials:
wood bead chips
ruby fresh water pearls
2 silver plated charms letter "E" (for Earjeans ;)
