The Earjeans 365 Collection: #301

Today's jewelry inspiration is a spin off from yesterday's. I really like the shredded leather earrings style but I wanted to change it up a bit. Yesterday, I added jewelry chain to it and they turned out okay. I was perfectly fine with moving on from the idea, but when I woke up I still had this on my mind. So today, I added beads and I am super happy with this change.

I call earring #301 "Just Right" leather earrings
(I loved this movie by the way :)

Our materials

Cinnabar bead
jet black glass bead
black leather
findings

Design time for these is about 30 minutes. They would match perfectly with a cute black tube top dress and a black choker necklace. (I'll be working on one to match this soon :)

The Earjeans 365 Collection: #302

I thought it would be cool to try a little something different with today's jewelry piece. One of my favorite Earjeans to wear are my black shredded leather earrings and my long peacock feather earrings. I decided to merge the two designs together to see how they would look.

#302 Leather n Chains long earrings

The shredded leather earrings

Proud peacock earrings---->

So I took a little from one and a little from the other and this is what I came up with....

Personally, they looked a little different in my head, but I'm not mad at how they turned out. I guess that's the beauty of creativity. You can think of something, try it out, and even if it doesn't turn out the way you thought it would, it still doesn't look bad *shrugs shoulders*.

Hope you're Tuesday was a great one :)

The Earjeans 365 Collection: #303

As many of you know, October is Breast Cancer awareness month. I, like many others, have a friend fighting this disease and have witnessed how it effects a person's life. There are many ways we can help find a cure. Something as simple as purchasing items at your neighborhood grocery store that have the breast cancer pink ribbon symbol helps raise money to fund the research needed to stop this deadly disease. For more ways to donate click here

Jewelry piece #303 is called "Think Pink" jewelry set

our materials:

Acrylic pink beads
silver ball beads

This bracelet and earrings set is very cute and very simple :) The bracelet stretches for easy wear and the earrings are a little over 2" long so they can be worn in the work place if you choose to do so.

Design time for this is about 10 minutes and here's our new jewelry set...

Jewelry set is now available click here

*A portion of the sale of all pink items in my shop will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

More pink items to come :)

The Earjeans 365 Collection: #304

So Sunday was my recover day from Saturday's sell event followed by a concert. (I had double duty that night- sold Earjeans from 12-8 then jumped on stage for a 45 minute performance.) It was a ton of fun but you know I slept hard after that, lol!

Since I did double duty, Sunday's jewelry piece is called "The Double strand beaded necklace"

Our materials
glass bead pendant
balck seed beads
fishing wire
lobster clasp

Design time for this piece is about 35 minutes. It measures about 20" (a little bit longer than a choker) and has a lobster clasp.

Our new necklace...

I'm gonna have fun making this piece in different colors :)

This necklace is available by clicking here

Almost caught up, one more to go!

The Earjeans 365 Collection: #305

What a weekend! I don't know about you, but I had fun :) So much fun, that I didn't post Saturday or Sunday's jewelry piece! (But I did make them) So it's catch up time...

With the holiday's coming up, many people are already preparing for gift shopping, planning holiday parties, and making plans for where they will bring in the new year. For some this may seem a little to far in advance to be thinking about this but the truth is, it will sneak up on you if you don't.

So I created a pretty jewelry piece to compliment that little black dress you are planning to wear at some point this holiday season :)

#305 "Party Time" jewelry set

Our materials

sharp oval black glass beads
seed beads
small black onyx faceted rondelle beads
C-clasp closure
fishing wire

Design time for this pretty piece is about 30-40 minutes. The necklace rests nicely on the collar bone and is complimented nicely with a small pair of earrings. I hand wrapped the earrings and added lever back ear wires.

And here's our new jewelry set...

Next up, Sunday's jewelry creation....
