Things have been super busy at Earjeans central and for all the right reasons :)

These are made with cotton fabric. This print caught my eye immediately in the store and I had to have it :)

#263 "Feather Friends"


These earrings were so much fun to make! I hand wrapped each feather piece with jewelry wire then covered it with a piece of dark brown leather. They are 8 inches long and super light weight.

This fun bracelet is a bold yet subtle way to add a little bling to any outfit.
I made this 10-ring bracelet with black seed beads and black glass beads.

The Earjeans 365 Collection: #266

Today's jewelry inspiration is dedicated to music lover's and all things 1990's. One of my favorite things to do was listen to the radio and record my favorite songs directly to cassette tape. The challenge was to stop the tape before the DJ would come back on again. It was really easy to have several tapes and not know what songs were on which tape. Since then music has evolved dramatically. Here's to remembering "the good ol' days"

Our materials:
Denim
black, white, and silver glitter fabric paint
findings

Design time for these is about 4 1/2 hours including the drying time. I hand painted the design on both sides. They are a lot lighter than they look.

The Earjeans 365 Collection: #267

I'm really loving this color scheme for the fall! I couldn't help it :)

Piece #267 is called Clusters & Copper cocktail ring.

Our materials:
copper wire (20g and 14g)
carnelian bead chips
turquoise bead chips
tiger's eye bead chips
topaz swarovski crystals

Design time for this piece is 25 minutes.

I hammered a strip of copper and then wire wrapped several of the semi precious bead chips with a few swarovski crystals around the ring base. This makes for a great piece to wear with a beautiful cocktail dress or any outfit you want to add a little bit of bling to.

Today's jewelry inspiration is dedicated to looking fabulous with every step you take.

I was inspired to create these after working on a custom bracelet for myself. Having a piece of jewelry made for a specific person makes that person feel special and unique and they'll treasure that piece of jewelry as such.

So earrings #269 are called "Personal Touch"

(My favorite group from The Sing Off, Afro Blue)

Our jewelry piece is dedicated to any person who has a dream and wants to pursue it but may not quite know how. I was inspired to create this bracelet as a constant reminder that we must follow our dreams in full confidence that they will become reality if we simply refuse to give up. I truly believe that one should do work they love and love the work they do. To accept anything less than that is settling for less than what we deserve.

Design time for this lovely piece is 20 minutes. I treated the jewelry charm with a single coat of clear nail polish for an extra shine.

Our jewelry inspiration for today will close us out for the month of November. This is another piece I created in honor of Pancreatic Cancer awareness month.

The Earjeans 365 Collection: #272

Today's jewelry inspiration comes from a phone call from one of my close friends. She asked if I could make a few pieces in honor of National Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month and I was more than happy to do so.

When I began to do a search on more information about this disease, I learned that actor, Patrick Swayze, died from this several years ago.

Design time for this pretty necklace is about 2 hours. I did manage to make a simple pair of matching earrings. (what's a necklace without matching earrings? :)

Our next earring inspiration is dedicated to "dreamers" all around the world.

#273 "Beautiful Dreamer" earrings

It takes about an hour to create these lovely earrings. Looking at them remind me of dream catchers. They are amazingly light weight and would make a great addition to any jewelry collection. They are almost 6 inches long.

Everyone wants to feel special. Whether we like to admit it or not, feeling special is a part of our DNA - yes even men! What better way to feel special then to have someone make something especially for you or unique to you in some way?

So jewelry piece #274 is called "Personalize Me"

I used black beads as this is easy to match with anything and then the charm can be whatever letter you desire. It takes about 30 minutes to create this 3 string necklace and I'm very happy with the results.

Today's jewelry inspiration comes from me staring at several of the jewelry pieces I recently created. This bracelet is actually an experiment as I wasn't sure how it was going to look in real life.

This bracelet took 1 hour and 45 minutes to create. I am so happy with the way it turned out I haven't taken it off my wrist since I took the pictures, lol! I am definitely making more :)

The Earjeans 365 Collection: #276

Earring #276 is called "Yo Gabba Gabba!"

Yesterday we (Arrested Development) had the pleasure of performing for their live show at the Fox Theater in downtown Atlanta for both their 2pm and 5pm shows. Several thousand colorful children and parents flooded the Fox ready to dance and sing. We had a blast! The entire Yo Gabba Gabba cast and crew are a bunch of wonderful folks who enjoy what they do and I'm so happy to be a part of that.

So here's to DJ Lance, Muno, Brobee, Plex, Toodee, Foofa, and the gang.
